Annotation presets

When systematically annotating a model, for example to mark up defects, efficiency is important. We often want to mark the same small set of annotation types over an over. "Annotation presets" are provided for this purpose.

Annotation presets are a feature of the desktop app only.

The Add Annotations dialog shows a list of presents at the top right, and indicates which present is active, if any.

The Edit Presets botton opens a second dialog, where presets can be set up.

Each preset is assigned to a number, starting with 1. A present defines some set of properties to be added to an annotation.

A typical use for this feature is to set up presets for each common defect type, using a "Defect type" single select property template.

Once presets are defined, use Ctrl+1 etc on the keyboard to add a new annotation with the properties set up for preset 1.
