File Locations

Default location for the program files:

Windows: C:\Program Files\Reveal4D or wherever you specified during setup

macOS:

Data and Settings Files:

Windows: C:\Users\[current user]\Appdata\LocalLow\Obvis\Reveal4D

macOS: ~/Library/Application Support/Obvis/Reveal4D

Log Files:

You can supply these to Obvis support if there is a problem with the operation of the software.

Windows: C:\Users\[current user]\Appdata\LocalLow\Obvis\Reveal4D\Player.log

Windows: C:\Users\[current user]\Appdata\LocalLow\Obvis\Reveal4D\Player-prev.log

Windows: C:\Users\[current user]\Appdata\LocalLow\Obvis\Reveal4D\Reveal4D[date].log

macOS: ~/Library/Application Support/Obvis/Reveal4D/Player.log

macOS: ~/Library/Application Support/Obvis/Reveal4D/Player-prev.log

macOS: ~/Library/Application Support/Obvis/Reveal4D/Reveal4D[date].log

Cached models:

These can be removed to recover drive space in the client app, but you may delete them manually if necessary, they will be re-downloaded if required.

macOS: ~/Library/Application Support/Obvis/Reveal4D/Cache

Proxy Settings

If your network requires a proxy be used - this file can be edited to supply Reveal4D with those settings

Windows: C:\Users\[current user]\Appdata\LocalLow\Obvis\Reveal4D\proxy.settings

macOS: ~/Library/Application Support/Obvis/Reveal4D

Reveal4D Client Settings

It's probably best not to edit this unless you know what you're doing
